Jane is Terry's office assistant, enabling him the time to focus on training horses and teaching riders.  

Jane was born in Lancashire, and raised in Nottinghamshire, England. After spending three years in Liverpool, she completed her Joint Honours Degree in Physics and Maths, and set off to have a look around the world. 

50 countries later the travel-lust apparently will never wear off, and living in France is of course like living in many countries at once. Where better to land for someone who started 'really getting into cooking' while being a student, then turning professional, cooking in 'klein aber fein' restaurants in the USA and Australia, on private yachts throughout the Mediterranean, Bahamas and Caribbean, and some of the finest private castles and mansions in Austria, Slovakia, Germany and France.

 Jane started taking riding lessons when she was seven years old, later her parents bought her a Welsh Pony called 'Secret' when she was eleven. With him she jumped, and rode all over the countryside, joining the local foxhunt when possible.  

Studies made riding opportunities limited, then immediately after graduation from University, Jane was on a plane to New York.

While traveling, it is often not easy to go riding. However, crossing the Andes from Chile to Argentina on a beautiful Criollo for a week (while being filmed for Dutch TV...), wild Arabian beach gallops on the Sinai, and very mellow rides through tea terraces in Darjeeling and Indonesia... were some consolation....  

 Many years later in Oregon she picked up reins regularly again, working on classical dressage. A move to Austria and two years riding with top trainers brought her to S level,  then at the end of 2007, 'Woody' came along and it was time to switch to Western. 

In 2008 Jane started to show in Reining and ended 2009 in the NRHA France top10 rankings in Rookie, Non Pro and Limited Non Pro divisions, qualfiying her for the 2010 EAC Championships in Givrins.

In 2011 Jane and Reto tied as Rookie co-champions in the Horse Academy Challenge.
