Clients usually first choose a size of tree according to the build of their horse and a style of saddle according to the discipline they ride, for example, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Reining, Working Cow Horse and Cutting. A versatility type of saddle is offered for all around use.

The client also decides if the function of the saddle is to be a work saddle or a show saddle or a saddle intended for both daily training and showing. There can be as much 'bling' or silver you want, or none at all!

The type of leather can be chosen from the options of Rough, Smooth or Patterned. Patterned can be chosen, for example Basket-Weave, Roses, Barbed-Wire...

Colors can be chosen from light, medium, light brown, dark brown or even black. Saddles can also have an oil finish if desired.

There is also a choice of length of saddle; a saddle cut an inch shorter than traditonal lengths is very popular as it frees and relieves the horses back movement.

Stirrups can also be chosen by the client according to preference, leather, wood, or aluminium are all available.
