NOVEMBER 2009

We had a full-house last weekend with a group of ten riders from Luxembourg participating in a 2 day clinic. We had alot of fun and look forward to the next time! Thanks to everyone for coming and to Karin Pauly-Pfister for the organisation and Patrick for the Beaujolais!

We are planning another clinic very soon in Cadenbronn, which will be open to everyone.

HORSE LAND update 25 September

The road construction in Cadenbronn is finished today, the road is officially open Sept 29.

Work can now begin immediately in the outdoor arena; we are currently at the first stage of leveling the base for the new matting system.

Meanwhile, Cadenbronn artist Daniel Philipe, has begun work in the indoor arena, he is painting a 60m long panaroma of our landscape, with horse themes, legends and fantasies!

COW HORSE CLINIC IN EMERANGE

This clinic was once again very popular, thanks again to Patrick and Karin Pauly for the hospitality! Once the new footing is installed in Cadenbronn we will immediately be holding Cow Horse Clinics at home, as we have a plentiful supply of Limousin cattle to work with.... We look forward to a busy winter working with cows!

TRAIL, PLEASURE, HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC, SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER, CADENBRONN 

Terry is offering a clinic for riders at all levels in Trail, Horsemanship and Western Pleasure. Price per rider is Euro 65 for the day (2 rides), including day-box, excluding lunch which will be on offer. Boxes are available overnight also, please inquire, call Terry or Jane to register.

New home... 

Terry Schultz Training is now based at Horse Land, Cadenbronn, France. We have chosen to lease and manage this new facility, which is being fitted with new footing in both the 21 x 60 m Indoor Arena and the 40 x 80 m Outdoor Arena to provide optimal all-weather ground for Reining and Western riding in general. Terry's success in the region combined with a superior environment promises to offer an exciting center with the best service for all our clients. We look forward to bringing you more details very soon about the various new training programs which will be available.

Clinic at Ferme du Trehemont, Moyeuvre Grande

Thanks to Céline Vary for hosting a very enjoyable clinic, everyone said riding in the afternoon was much improved, partly due to the steaks, St. Emilion etc... that we had for lunch! Claudine was a great help, thankyou. The next clinic at Trehemont will be on September 13.

Terry was seen last week on German television in the film PFERDE MEINE SEELE a documentary by Antonia Umlauf of Healing Media broadcast by ORF.

Cow Horse Clinic Emerange, Luxembourg

Our first Working Cow Horse Clinic at Pauly Ranch in Emerange, Luxembourg was huge!  The next date is expected to be Sunday, September 6. Patrick and Karin Pauiy were perfect hosts, active participants, and the many spectators enjoyed the Barbeque and atmosphere. Be sure to check the updated Cow Horse page for additional information.

CLINIC NEWS

 The first clinic in Marpingen was a very enjoyable success, and we look forward to being there on a  regular basis.

NRHA CH NRHA USA Swiss Spring Slide Mooslargue France

Terry wins the NRHA USA Prime Time Open with Play N Smart (141,5)

and 3rd place with Scoots in Hollywood (140).

After a tie for first place with a score of 140,5 Terry wins with a score of 141,5 following a nerve-wracking, tie-breaker ride off, against Benno Wyss on Spirit of Taco of Switzerland.

Jane was 3rd place with Play N Smart in the NRHA USA Non Pro Bronze Morrison Trophy with a score of 139,5.

Terry was 9th place with Scoots in Hollywood in both the NRHA USA Intermediate Open and the Open Morrison Bronze Trophy.

NRHA France 3 Nations Show Mooslargue

Terry's first win with Scoots in Hollywood,

owned by Terry and Jane.

Terry tied with Hannes Bolz for first place

in the Rookie Pro class,

and won the coin toss for the trophy! 

Terry was 6th in the same class

with Larenasstarlight, and 4th on the same horse,

in the Limited Open.
